I started babysitting at 12 yrs old and knew childcare was my passion, so I received my degree in early childhood education. I started out working at a summer camp while I was getting my degree and then worked in childcare centers until I became a stay at home mom. Now I homeschool my two children, 10 and 13 years old. I have lots of educational books and toys for toddlers, 2 yr okds and preschoolers that I can bring with me when I babysit. I also have educational books for elementary and junior high kids but unless they are homeschooled themselves, they probably don't want to do educational stuff with a babysitter too lol
