Hi! My name is Ashley and I am a 28 year old Master's of Science Graduate from Western Michigan University. I was born and raised in Chicago, but lived in Michigan for 8 years. I recently moved to Oak Park for work and live in Oak Park. I have been working with children in a variety of settings for over 10 years. Teaching/interacting with children is my personal passion aside from my academic studies. Before moving back to Illinois I worked with children in numerous settings, such as babysitting, nursing camp assistant, and teaching. I taught Bible study for K-4th graders at my church, and also would work my summers at a christian camp for ages 7-18 years. Additionally, I spend tons of time with my family and friends and assisting with baby sitting. I am comfortable with infants and toddlers. In my free time I enjoy cooking, doing yoga, Read more reading, scrapbooking and being around people. Spending time with children is the only work I have encountered in my life that has not felt like work to me. I enjoy the interactions no matter how challenging.
