Hello my name is Jessica and I am a sixth grade math teacher I have been a teacher for the last six years. I have taught sixth grade, seventh, fifth, and third grade. I also have been coaching junior high and high school softball for the last 4 years. I received my Elementary Education degree from ISU with endorsements in math, science, social science, and language arts. I have been working with children since I was in high school. It has always been my passion. My sophomore and junior year in high school I worked in a preschool three days a week teaching, staffing, and observing. The children I worked with were anywhere from 3 to 5-year-olds. My senior year in high school I interned at an elementary school in Orland Hills working with 9-10year olds. I’m college, I volunteered in a church's nursery working with children anywhere from 9 Read more months old to 3 years old. I have also worked with children from ages 6 years old to 13 in a summer day camp located in Orland park. As you can see, I truly enjoy working with children and look for new ways to get myself involved and continuing my education.
