With my 6 years of experience in a paid childcare setting and an additional 3 years unpaid babysitting for friends and family, I ensure your children will be in great hands. I also have a child of my own who is now nine years old, which gives me some parenting experience. I have plenty of involvement with assisting children to meet the appropriate developmental stages for their age. I have multiple outlets for learning activities including fine motor and large motor skills. When babysitting, I will sometimes bring a bag filled with some materials to help assist with games and crafts (with permission). I have been babysitting for the past eight years and love it! Some activities I enjoy are walks, crafts and swimming. I am CPR and Lifeguard certified if you have a swimming pool. Availability I ask that all requests are made known 48-72 hour ahead of time. That way I can properly prepare myself, and accommodate the needs and wants for you and your family. I do not drive, I ride public transportation, so I will only commute for 45 minutes to 1 hour. I'm willing to travel a distance if you are willing to discuss Uber or Lyft expenses. I'm available 2-3 days out of a week from 9:00am- 6pm ( I'm willing to work earlier if you are close) and Saturdays from 4:00pm-10:00pm. Bookings/Request A phone interview is required for all requests made. During our phone discussion, I want to know important information regarding your child or children ( Kids names, age, interest, allergies/medications, disciplinary actions, daily routine, etc.). I will also share with you my 11 wonderful years caring for youth from Infancy-School age! I will send my resume and references via email after our phone discussion. Orientation After our phone discussion an orientation is required, please note that through Sittercity anyone can make an account. I've been with them for 7 years and I had my share of scammers. So I ask that we set a day and time for us to meet to get an idea of one another's personality, meeting your child or children, and giving me a tour around your home. Payment I charge 20/hourly and one dollar additional child. The only form of payment I will accept is PayPal or Venmo. I will not accept cash or check, I also expect to be paid once I've finished the sitting and kids are calm enough for the transaction to run smoothly. If you are late there is a sub charge of $25 dollars.
