My name is Stephanie and I am currently a junior studying Early Childhood Education at Illinois State University. I have been babysitting ever since I was in the seventh grade! While I was in high school, I baby sat a family of five (ages 10 months-8 years old) and I still keep in touch with this family. While I was in high school, I took a course named Early Childhood Education and during this course I taught a preschool classroom for a semester. After high school, I have gained much more experience with working with younger children by completing volunteer hours in Normal, Illinois. Some of my volunteer hours have been at The Boys and Girls Club, Easter Seals, and Head start. Also, while I am at school, I am a reading/math tutor for elementary aged children. Additionally, during the school day I work at a nearby preschool (when I Read more am not in class) and kindergarten room. For my teaching courses, I have completed a clinical in an infant room, preschool room, and currently a first grade room. Over the years, I have gained an undesirable love for caring for young children! Also, since I am studying to become a teacher, I have a completed background check on file (I will provide you with a copy). I also completed CPR training during my senior year of high school.
