Hello! My name is Carissa. I recently graduated from Oswego High School. I enjoy cooking and baking, playing board games, doing crafts, and going outside! I haven’t done much babysitting outside my family but through OHS I had many opportunities to work with kids of all ages and abilities. Firstly, I served as a leader in the HIKE program. The HIKE program is a program where high school students spend a day at an elementary school working with students to stop bullying and help students figure out the support they have. Secondly, I participated in many of OHS’s outreach nights for the middle schools. These were primarily for helping with the transition into high school and for easing both student and parent anxiety. And finally, I also served as teacher in the OHS preschool program. In this program I had the opportunity to work with children ages 2-5 in a Read more mostly 1-1 environment. I also planned many fun and educational activities.
