My name is Kaitlyn and I am 23 years old. I am currently living in Prospect Heights. I am currently looking for with a loving family that I can stay with for a long time. I have had a passion for taking care of children ever since I can remember. When I was 13 years old, my parents gave birth to my little brother. I have taken care of him for the past 9 years and I have been there with him through every step of his life. I have done everything from changing his diapers to teaching him how to read. At 13, I also started taking care of children outside of my family. Over the years I have babysat and nannied for many different families. I have watched children with ages ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years old. I have watched up to 4 children at a Read more time and I have nannied for two different sets of twins. I worked at a family photography studio for a year which allowed me to work with kids of every age. Most recently I have been the nanny for three beautiful girls ages 1, 4 & 8 who I loved and adored. I have a very hands on approach to taking care of children. Instead of sitting in front of the TV, I would rather play outside, read a book or do arts and crafts. I may not be great at sports, but I love playing them. I am also pretty girly and I love everything Disney. In my spare time I love to do anything crafty. I knit, cross stitch, sew, craft and scrapbook. If it can be made, I will find a way to make it. I have taken classes in babysitting and first aid. I was also certified in CPR a few years ago and I am currently looking for classes so I can get re-certified. I look forward to creating a relationship with a loving family. Kaitlyn was wonderful with our 3-year old son. He took to her right away during the interview (he came running down and gave her a hug) and was looking for a hug and a kiss by the time she left. When we arrived home from our first date night in I can't tell you how long, our son was happy and in bed. We will definitely be asking Kaitlyn to sit for us again in the near future.
