Professionally, I am an industrial engineer. I am working towards my PhD right now, of which I only have research remaining (all coursework is complete). Personally, I love family and spending time with people and animals. My favorite job title so far in life is Aunt. I have 8 nieces and nephews, which would be the best introduction to my background experience in child care. Additionally, I was a primary caregiver for my Nana growing up, and thoroughly enjoy spending time with my grandparents. Due to my research-only status, I work from home on my laptop every day and therefore have a very flexible schedule. This "work life" has benefits, but what I am missing is an interaction and participation with community. Whether it be elders, children, and/or pets, I would love to grow my family and help you with the care our loved ones deserve. I am not current, Read more but I was certified in child CPR, and routinely care for the mentioned nieces and nephews (age range 1-14). Lastly, I have a best friend who is a 15 year old black lab and routinely volunteer at animal shelters and animal rescues over the past 6 years. In the past, I have had other dogs, cats, fish, and rats. Please let me know if you have any questions, I am an open book!
