Hi! My name is Megan and I have an extensive background with taking care of children. Aside from having a little brother, a niece and a nephew who I have watched since they were all infants, I also have multiple other experiences. My very first job that I had when I moved to Chicago was a nanny, pre-pandemic. I have worked several times in an orphanage in Haiti, helping the nannies and teaching preschool ages. I also have been a camp counselor where I was in charge of multiple kids at one time. I also have a background in tutoring, as I was a tutor in the the Chicago area for a variety of subjects. I typically was tutored ages 9-12. I do have other experiences with special kinds of care such as ADHD, dyslexia and adopted children. I really enjoy getting to work with kids because I am able Read more to see the world a little bit more colorful each time I’m around them. They truly have a really amazing way of seeing the world. As far as other responsibilities, I am not afraid of housework. I’d be more than happy to extend a helping hand and bring a sense of peace to the work of keeping up with the house. I also am not afraid of pets- in fact I prefer them! I don’t know a life outside of caring for animals, and have been doing so ever since I was young. I also own my own car and am able to make accommodations for transpiration. I also have a mandated reporter certificate. I’d be happy to help in any way I can! Just ask me about my availability!
