I grew up in a family of 6 kids (having two younger siblings - one with epilepsy). One family that I babysat for had two kids, one was 8 years old and the other was 4. For this family, I helped with homework, chores, dinner preparation and bedtime preparation. The second family that I babysat for also had two kids, a 6 year old and a 4 year old. For them, I would wake them up and help the 6 year old get ready and then take her to school and then spend time with the 4 year old until his mother got home. My job currently is a Paraprofessional at Rantoul City Schools. I work with kids ranging from 3-5 year olds. Some of the children would be ones who have autism, or who are nonverbal and others who have a a behavioral or a speech disability. I am Read more also CPR certified and have loved spending time with kids for as long as I can remember.
