I have been taking care of children since I was 13 years old. I have taken many childcare classes and have gone through CPR and first aid certification training. I have also worked at my previous high school's daycare. I am great with children and often babysit children in my own family very often. I am involved in CGTI which is a drug prevention program founded on the idea that people should build their self esteem and be more optimistic in order to build a better foundation for their lives and experiences. Through this program I have learned many skills such as communication, enthusiasm, patience, as well as many different songs and chants and games to play with children (most of which I play with my nieces and nephew). I have also, through school have helped tutor and mentor younger children between the ages of 9 and 13. I also Read more have two years experience working with special needs children through school.
