I love children and have had years of experience with helping to care for my on siblings, extended family, neighbors and helping my mom as she ran an in-home daycare many years ago. As I have grown older, I have worked and volunteered at other in-home daycare facilities such as H. O. M. E. Day Care in Chicago, IL. In high school, I was a part of a club known as Best Buddies, which is geared towards building relationships students with disabilities so I have about three years of experience helping individuals with special needs. I gained more experience when I worked for Camp Sharing Meadows, a facility geared towards helping adults with disabilities last fall. This year, I recently started volunteering at Hilltop Neighborhood House, a daycare facility for children ages six months to six years. I specialize with volunteering with toddlers aged two years to three years.
