Hello there! My name is Megan, I am 24 years old and I am a very experienced child care taker and babysitter. I currently work as a Youth Mental Health Clinician in Chicago, as a licensed social worker for my day job. I work with children between 5-18 years old and graduated graduate school this past May. Previously, I studied teaching English which afforded me many opportunities to teach youth and kids overseas. I also nannied, babysat and tutored all throughout my undergrad years. I have experience with babies, and all the things they need such as feeding, diapering, naps, and bedtime. I also babysat older school-aged kids. With this, it opened the doors to not only babysitting duties (like having fun), but also tutoring for school work. I tutored mainly English, Literature and Social Studies. I also have my Professional Educator’s License (PEL) since graduating graduate school. Before undergrad, I worked as a camp counselor and babysitter throughout high school, and enjoyed every second of it! I am CPR and first aid certified. I also have a lot of experience with pets! I love animals of all kinds from four legs to no legs, and from fur to scales. Some personal things about me, is that I love animals, nice days outside, and baking treats! Nothing beats a chocolate chip cookie :) I also really enjoy doing arts and crafts that give kids the ability to be creative and make something they are proud of.
