Through out high school I participated in a program called Teaching Young Children and through that I gained experience in caring and looking after children ages of 3 to 6. I was responsible for their well being and safety as well in creating a fun and creative environment. I also got experience in creating lesson plans and then teaching them to the children. For the past two summers I have been a camp counselor for ages ranging from 5 to 12. As a camp counselor I was responsible for the kids' safety and also planning fun creative activities that the children would enjoy. I also have experience in babysitting my one year old cousin. Currently I am a student at Northern Illinois University studying Early Childhood Education. In the future I want to be a preschool or kindergarten teacher.
