I have been babysitting children ranging from the age of eight weeks to 13 years old. I began babysitting when I was 12 years old with my younger family members and the children of family friends. In high school, I attended a boarding school where I often babysat the children of teachers. I regularly babysat a 8-month-old and her 2-year-old brother on some nights and weekends. I am great with keeping children entertained and engaged without the television. I will also be getting certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid and CPR through the American Red Cross on May 20, 2014. I am great at arts and crafts with many age appropriate activities at hand. I also enjoy sports. I played basketball and lacrosse in high school and I was also on the dance team. I enjoy the performing arts as well. I participated in school plays and musicals as Read more well as vocal groups. I also know how to swim and would love to teach your little one as well. I began babysitting when I was 12 in order to make some extra money, but then I realized that I love children. They are fun, energetic, and have a wild imagination. I believe that being a babysitter isn't just about supervising a child for a given period of time. It is about sparking creativity and imagination in a child as well as supporting their developmental growth.
