I'm 23 years old, and have always had a love for children! I was the youngest child in my family, and was always begging my parents for a younger brother or sister! Instead, I helped families in my church with their children, and ended up a well-loved babysitter in my town and director of that church's children's choir! Over ten years of childcare experience later, my love for kids is still going strong! I'm a nanny for infant twins during the week and love it! Right now, I'm looking for weekend and evening babysitting jobs to help pay my husband's seminary tuition. My hobbies include reading, baking, scrapbooking, netflix, and spending as much time as I can outdoors! I've always loved adventure, and hate to be bored! I love to do fun activities with kids, whether it's finger painting with 1 year olds, or rock climbing with a middle schooler! Read more My babysitting philosophy is based on consistency. I try to do things as close as possible to the same way the parents of my charges do. This means following schedules, and enforcing the same rules in much the same way as parents do on a daily basis. Communication with parents is very important to me. I like to know what parents feel their kids excel at and what they want them to work on, what motivates their kids, and how they want them to be cared for. In turn, I keep parents well-informed about their children's accomplishments and struggles while under my care. In addition to regular care, I can also help with homework and provide transportation and some cooking for the children I look after.
