Karla was fantastic with my children - 3 1/2 and 2 and 3 months old - she is very patient and kind - she never sits and is always up for whatever the kids want to do - she will bundle ghie kids up and take them for walks, library etc. my 3 1/2 yo can be hard to handle at times and she never lost her cool. He knew he could not push her buttons. They miss her when she is gone so, I knew I found a great caregiver!

Hi there! My name is Zaina, I'm an experienced, nurturing, and dedicated childcare provider with a passion for supporting children's growth and development. completed a certified Early Childhood Education program. I worked one on one with pre schoolers creating developmental plans. This foundational experience sparked my love for working with children and led me to begin babysitting and nannying with children ranging from infants-12 years old. Over the years I've worked in a wide variety of childcare settings. I spent 3 years as an educator/manager at an elementary program, I implemented engaging daily lesson plans tailored to each child's needs. My approach blends structure with creativity for a safe, fun, and educational environment. I'm experienced in household management and understand how to keep a home running smoothly. I'm certified in infant and child CPR/BLS. I am vaccinated, non-smoker and have a reliable car. I would love the opportunity to bring my experience, energy, and dedication to your family!

Zaina started nannying my son when he was 6 month old son and was an exceptional addition to our family. She truly does her job with love and passion and made my son her top priority. she was very accommodating when we needed last minute changes or help which she didn't need to do but always wanted to help and make our lives easier. She took my son to the park and library, fed him, changed him. I loved how she incorporated education and development in his daily life which is a plus with her background. Always made sure to clean after him. She has me and my husband's top recommendation, we felt so comfortable and trusting with her!

I have well over 25 years of professional Nanny/House Managing/Personal Assistant experience, in addition a to Pre-School teaching and Pre-School swim instruction background. I also have In-Home Day Care experience at my Westchester residence. I have a Child Development/Psychology background. I have an extensive medical background/CPR trained and can handle children with special needs. Kids respond to me because I am patient, outgoing, fun-loving and try to relate to them at their level. I also try to make every day a fun learning experience. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty. In the summer you can find me on the ground catching insects, teaching the children how to fish, or catching bullfrogs/ turtles to study (catch and release). I am a big nature-lover. I am an avid fisher-woman, excellent swimmer and horseback-rider. My hobby is training/entering my German Shepherd Dogs in Obedience/Conformation Competition). My previous 14 year old female Lexxi, was a UKC Champion, who held 5 titles and 44 awards. She also did therapy work. I’ve also owned cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, and a cockatiel named SpongeBob! Although I am no "spring chicken" so to speak, don’t let my age deter you. I am high energy and fit, working 50-60 hours a week caring for children. On the weekends, when I’m not working, you’ll find me running around the dog show ring, or practicing agility. My current 7 month old Kasha, is working on her AKC obedience titles. She has some big paws to fill! I have a Law Enforcement/Animal Control Officer, a Medical/ Medical Computer Systems background and have also worked in the Corporate world. All of those jobs I really enjoyed. But I’m completely happy and comfortable in a private/domestic setting taking care of children and managing a household. I excel at ensuring that the household is running smoothly, and I like putting my excellent organizational skills to work. It is a very gratifying experience for me. To be successful, there needs to be teamwork and open communication. I’m a firm believer in consistency and structure... I’m professional, comical, considerate of others, a bit of a neat freak and a little bit of a workaholic; and 100% dependable! I am also a parent, although my daughter is much, much older. I’m a long time Sittercity member. I recently left my Nanny position of over 8 years in River Forest. Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing from you!

Sheila is a great cat sitter and a great lady. She very clearly loves animals, as you can tell from her bio. She was very conscientious about maintaining a consistent feeding schedule and interacting with my cat. She texted me with an update after every visit. I will definitely hire her again.

Hi ! I'm a single mother to my daughter who just graduated from the Physician Assistant program at Marquette. Proud Mom here! I have over 20 years of babysitting and caregiving experience and am currently certified in Basic Life Support and First Aid. Over the years, I've volunteered in my church's nursery, taught Sunday school for Pre-K and Kindergarten, and cared for my daughter/nieces/nephews, as well as babysitting for friends and neighbors. I started my career as a professional caregiver over 10 years ago, so I have experience with anyone from infants to teenagers to the elderly. For the past few years, I have worked as a medical assistant in a variety of healthcare settings. To me, caring for children is very rewarding and I love what I do. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and my friends I am comfortable with pets. I have a reliable car and am able to help with homework, mealtimes, and light housekeeping. I value safe and fun experiences and love to incorporate learning into play and everyday activities. I Love making each day fun and kids smile. I'm a smiley bubbly positive person myself. Gina started with our daughter when she was three months old and worked with us to find a great routine that has allowed our baby to thrive. Our daughter has gone through eczema flare ups, multiple formula changes and poor napping; Gina has been so loving, kind and took all of our directions really well. Our daughter, who is now nine months, always laughs and gets excited when she sees her at the door. Gina has been incredibly playful, creative and attentive to all of our daughter's needs (nap schedule, bottle feeding, diaper changes and milestone activities). We've felt so lucky to have her, and she has lifted a huge weight off my shoulders post-partum. I can’t recommend her enough.

We had a wonderful experience with Ashton as a babysitter for our toddler! She was excellent at communicating before and during the job, arrived right on time, and immediately made us feel comfortable leaving our son with her. He had so much fun and was excited to tell us about his time with her afterward. Our child is potty trained but still needs some assistance, and she handled everything well. At the end of the evening, she gave us a thoughtful summary of everything they did, which we really appreciated. It was reassuring to know how his time went and showed how attentive she was throughout the visit. We would absolutely recommend her and would be happy to have her babysit for our family again!

I have been a stay at home Mom for our boy's entire lives. They are now grown men, and I have become a Grandma. I really enjoy care giving whether for the very young or the elderly. I am a Christian, non smoking, first aid trained, very experienced babysitter. I have been a nanny for ten years. I have my own transportation, and can provide pick up after school. I am very reliable, punctual and flexible if needs arise. I am also a Stephen Minister with even more training in care and communication. Please allow me to give fun and careful care in your absence, so that you may be able to rest easy and not be concerned about the home front while you are away. I can be available M-F in your home. Currently, looking for a part time Nanny position for the 26/27 school year. I enjoyed giving care to a four and five year old active brothers during the 17/18, 18/19, 19/20, 20/21, and 21/22 school years. At that point they no longer needed after school care. This involved transportation to/from the grade school as well as transportation to/from the preK where the four year old was enrolled daily. We had a lot of fun together. In (2016-17) I cared for 2 elementary age sisters before and after school. Since their Mom is a teacher, she is home with them for the summer. The school year before that (15/16), I worked for a family with a 4th grade daughter and a 7th grade son. I have enjoyed becoming a part of their family. I am finding that I am in need of more than the 10.5 hours this dear family can give me. The previous year (14/15), I enjoyed caring for a 5th grade boy. The following fall he was being bused to his Jr. high and no longer needed a caregiver as he had older siblings. Would love to hear from you ASAP if you are in need of reliable, on time, transportation provider, and nurturing care giving for your children after school in the 203 Naperville district. My neighborhood elementary school is Steeple Run, so that is obviously my preference. Would prefer to stay in District 203.
