Hi! My name is Brianna and I’m 22 years old. I’ve always loved being around kids and watching how they interact and engage with the world. I’ve done volunteer work at a local preschool, worked as a part-time nanny, and have been babysitting for many years. Most recently, I had the opportunity to work for the Walt Disney Company through the Disney College Program for 6 months, where I worked closely with families and children from all over the world, creating positive, safe, and fun experiences which has only reinforced how much I love working with kids. I am a licensed and experienced driver with my own vehicle. I’m also comfortable cooking a variety of meals, from simple favorites to more complex dishes. Additionally, I’m certified through the American Heart Association for CPR (infant and adult), First Aid, and AED, as well as certified through the American Red Cross for babysitting. I’ve lived in Columbia my whole life and plan to stay here through at least 2026, when I plan to attend law school. I’m super excited to continue working with families in the community. I graduated in May of 2024 from the University of Missouri, majoring in Strategic Communication through the School of Journalism. I’m extremely patient and caring, with an overall goal of wanting the best for whomever I’m around. I love being creative from drawing and painting to crocheting. I am a dependable, friendly, and compassionate babysitter. I am currently a student at Mizzou studying Early Childhood Education. This past year I took a gap year and had the opportunity to work as a full time teacher at WUFLC where I learned so much about the care of children of all ages. I want to be a pediatrician when I get older, so I have always enjoyed working with kids and caring for them. I love getting to meet new kids and their families and having fun. Hi! My name is Caitlyn and I just graduated Nursing school at Mizzou in the Accelerated program and have moved back to Chicago! I have worked and volunteered my entire life both with older children and younger ones as well. I used to volunteer at the library helping out with the Summer Reading Challenge in Chicago at one of the libraries and absolutely loved being able to help children learn how to talk about their books and give them advice on new books to read. I also volunteered at two organizations for a refugee children in Columbia taking care of children and helping them learn to read, play with them and help them do their homework while their parents learned English. I also worked at a Daycare for children ages 0-4 at a church in Columbia as well. I am fully vaccinated (and boosted) and very excited to hopefully hear from you soon!
