Hi! My name is Claire, I am a junior at Butler University, and I am studying environmental science and biology. I am a member of Ecoreps (environmental club) and APO (national service club). In my free time I like to hike, read, draw/paint, crochet, and spend time with dogs. I have been babysitting for 6 years, and was a nanny for the summer of 2022 and the summer of 2023. Also in summer of 2023, I worked as resource teacher at the Goddard School. While working there, I learned a lot more about taking care of children and received several certificates to be able to work in a childcare facility. I have been fingerprinted by DCFS and have all the necessary vaccinations to be able to work with young children. I still work at the Goddard School (Deerfield IL) during my holiday breaks from college. I also worked at the Read more Weston School in Indianapolis for several months in the fall-winter of 2023. I am taking a break from working there because it does not work with my class schedule this semester. I mostly worked with 1-2 year olds there. I have taken care of kids between 4 months - 13 years old. I received my Babysitter Certification when I was 14. Also, I have my drivers license and a car, and I have experience driving kids. I also love all pets and would love to help out with pets as well! When I am babysitting, I love to get the kids outside to play sports and games (volleyball, soccer, and basketball are my favorites!). I also love to do art projects with the kids, in the past I’ve done painting, drawing, and clay/model magic. I can cook meals and help with bedtime routines if needed for evening time nannying or weekend night babysitting.
