I am currently a senior at Ball State University that is studying Early Childhood and Early Special Education. I am looking to work with children this summer to gain experience in my professional field. I have also had various professional opportunities as well. I worked as a teacher assistant at Kiddie Academy, a childcare center, in my hometown of Fort Wayne, for the summer of 2018. I have also been a college mentor for two years now for College Mentors for Kids at Ball State University. There, I was paired with a third grader that I spent time with weekly doing various activities around Ball State's campus. I also am CPR and First Aid certified. I have also worked this past summer and school year for the Autism Society of Indiana as a direct care provider. This means I have professional experience working with children with special needs and their Read more families as well. Before then, I babysat for a family for 3 years in high school before entering college. Overall, I have numerous years of experience.
