I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and helping them learn, grow, and feel safe. I find it rewarding to build positive relationships with kids, support their development, and create a fun, caring environment where they can thrive. Every child has a unique personality, and I enjoy engaging with them through play, learning activities, and daily routines while providing families with peace of mind knowing their children are in good hands. I currently work in the Emergency Department as a Patient Care Assistant, where I provide care for patients of all ages, including infants, children, teenagers, adults, and older adults. This role has given me valuable experience communicating with children and families, remaining calm in stressful situations, and ensuring patient safety. In addition to my healthcare experience, I have extensive hands-on childcare experience through babysitting my younger cousins. I have cared for 6-month-old twin Read more girls, Imani and Imori, a 3-month-old infant named Kashous, a 7-year-old named Kayden, and a 3-year-old named Kaice. Caring for children ranging from newborns and infants to school-aged kids has taught me how to adapt to different developmental stages, manage multiple children at once, assist with feeding, diaper changes, bedtime routines, playtime, and provide attentive supervision. I am currently a college student majoring in Nursing with a minor in Psychology. My education has provided me with knowledge of child development, health, safety, communication, and human behavior. Working in the Emergency Department has strengthened my skills in patient care, observation, critical thinking, multitasking, and responding appropriately in urgent situations.
