Hi! My name is Lauren and I am a sophomore at Indiana University. I have loved kids my entire life and began babysitting around the age of 12, giving me about 8 years of prior experience. Since being at IU I have really missed my opportunities to hang out with kiddos and I m looking to help out families in the area. My mom ran her own in-home daycare center for the first 15 years of my life, so I am extremely comfortable with all ages. I am a type 1 diabetic, so in high school I spent a lot of time sitting for kids of all ages who also have diabetes. Currently, I'm an RA at IU and I also volunteer at the Bloomington IU Health Hospital in the NICU caring for infants born prematurely or addicted to substances.
