Hello! I have been a nanny for 16 years, and a babysitter for over 20. I was an STNA for a few years after high school, and also went to school for medical assisting after HS. I quickly realized childcare was my true passion and decided to follow my heart. I’ve nannied twins, special needs like Down Syndrome, severe food allergies, kids with asthma that need breathing treatments and more. I’ve brought children to preschool drop off, speech therapy, occupational therapy and have accompanied parents during doctors appointments and Help Me Grow appointments. I’ve learned sign language to help with communication with children who were struggling and have learned other skills that are so valuable during my many years in childcare. Breastmilk, formula, baby lead weaning, cloth diapers, sleep training/gentle sleep training, you name it I’ve likely helped with it! I have the most experience with infants as young as Read more 6 weeks, to preschoolers but I’m gaining experience with elementary children as well. I love being outside and going on field trips, music and crafts. I really enjoy reading books to kids and seeing their eyes light up when they're really into the story. Playing is the best way kids learn, and every experience gives me the opportunity to teach. I have a ton of references to share as well!
