My name is Cecilia Provins. I am originally from Indiana, but moved to Kalamazoo for school! I recently graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education! I am the oldest of 8, which has heavily influenced my love for children & teaching. As for experience, I was the mother figure in my family for several years. My youngest sibling is only 6 months old. I have regularly babysat for date nights/events for a 5 year old boy, as well as a three year old girl. I am very patient & caring for others, as well as dependable. I will not be attending school over summer, so I am looking for a part-time job that aligns with my love for teaching. I can easily create small lessons that will help with social-emotional learning, or subject learning as a whole! Learning should be fun & I’d love to incorporate that in our time together! It is summer, so I would like the ability to spend time outdoors (go to the park, etc.). Thank you in advance!

I’ve been around childcare my entire life. My parents owned a childcare center in the 90s and brought it to Indiana in the early 2000s, so growing up I was always surrounded by children of all ages. Because of that, I learned early on how to help create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. I officially started assisting in the childcare setting at age 13, helping with daily routines, meals, activities, and supervision. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with feeding, hygiene, engaging children in developmental activities, keeping them safe, and understanding different behaviors and needs. I am also CPR and First Aid certified, which has strengthened my ability to handle emergencies and provide safe, attentive care. Being raised in that environment taught me patience, responsibility, and how to care for others with kindness and consistency. Those skills translate directly into caregiving, because I’m already comfortable supporting someone’s daily needs and making sure they feel safe and cared for.

I am a wife and mother of three adult children. I was a certified elementary teacher (k-9) for over 15 years before I moved here, and I love to work with children. I was a full time nanny to two young children (3 yrs old and 3-15 months) in St. Joseph, Michigan (2021-23), another infant 3-20 months in Valparaiso (2023-24), and two children (4 & 2 years old) in Valpo (23-Now) I'm currently available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I can help with just about anything including the feeding, cleaning, laundry, making baby food, or homework. Just let me know what it is that you need. I am very comfortable with children of all ages. As a working parent, I understand how hard it is to get it all done and how important it is to find a reliable, trusted individual to care for your most precious commodity - your children. I am hands-on, engaging, and fun. I love to get kids out and about and involved in activities that involve physical movement whenever possible. I am also extremely reliable.

My name is Robin. I am 31 years old. I have 3 children of my own(14, 9, and 2) all girls! I do not smoke or drink. I currently work at Help at Home. It is a company based out of valpo that helps adults and children with special needs. I work on the DD Side(developmental disabled) as a Direct Support Professional. I have been with the company since March 3,2011. I love my job and I do not plan on leaving it anytime soon. I have great references and have amazing patience with kids and babies!! Especially colicky ones. I am also CPR Certified and I have a valid license with a good record, can pass a drug test and background checks. Normally I work evenings and weekends and stay home with my 2 year old and my husband works days then he watches the baby so i can work lol... I work 30 hours at a supported living site between friday(6pm) and Sunday (4pm) and I work on Wednesday and Thursday from 5pm to 9pm. My weekend clients that I work 30 hours for have behaviors and my other client that I work for just needs me to take her out shopping and get groceries and hang out and stuff of that nature. So I can get more hours at the job I am at but they don't really have overtime to offer. My husband is going in for surgery may 24th to have double hernia surgery so he will be out of work for 6 to 8 weeks. I really need another job in doing something that I love. I am very reliable I love spending time with my kids and it may sound strange that I am applying for a job to take care of other peoples kids but its something I am good at So please do not get the wrong impression of me because the truth is if I could I would be at home with my kids and not have to work I would treat your children as if they were my own kids and I think I am a great mother Please give me a chance As far as pay goes I am very fair... Open to a decent offer. I will be affordable for your family
