Hi! My name is Grace Lappay. I am 54 yrs. old, married with three grown children. I live less than 1 mile from you. I was a hairdresser and CNA in years past, but in the last 7 yrs. I worked full-time as a medical assistant and phlebotomist at a Cancer treatment center . It was a very wonderful experience doing all the intake on the patients and helping them navigate through their treatment process, while showing them tenderness and compassion. But I am ready for a change and a less hectic pace. I am compassion driven, organized, structured, domestic, and very loving. I enjoy children very much and love to teach them new things by cooking with them, (age appropriate), reading to them, and taking walks to explore. I believe children need a routine that they can expect and freedom to be creative within the structure of that routine. Read more Kids are more fearless and have more confidence when they know the boundaries. I believe children need some power of choice but, within perimeters. They rebel less when given the power to choose. Rewards and consequences are important , making sure to follow through on what is expected.
