Hi! My name is Kate Busbee and I live in Indianapolis. I am one of four kids and have been surrounded by young cousins and a big family my whole life. In high school, I worked one-on-one with children with disabilities and helped integrate an inclusive classroom program that had high school aged kids with down syndrome attend classes with the rest of the high school. I am patient, kind, loving, and respectful and love to spend time with kids. I am looking for opportunities before or after work and on the weekends and have a reliable car. I have been babysitting pretty much all ages (from 8 months old to 13) since I was in 7th grade and have spent previous high school and college summers babysitting. I also have previously worked camps during the summer and throughout the year where I am supervising groups of 8-10 elementary ages kids and designing tasks for them. I am a super active person who loves to be outdoors and do activities that are engaging and love to get outside when I can! I also am handy around the house and want to help out in any way I can including cooking, cleaning, laundry, and everything in between. Hi! My name is Olivia Flanagan. I am 19 years old. I am the oldest out of 12 cousins with the youngest being 8 months old, who I help with quite often. I babysat for a family in Plainfield, starting when he was around 7 months old, until our schedules no longer aligned. When I graduated high school I started working at a place called Piece by Piece which is a “school” for children with autism. At PBP I became a Registered Behavior Technician & received my CPR, First Aid & Safety care certifications. As an RBT my responsibilities were to ensure a safe & functional environment, collect data, implement behavior intervention plans & to teach & encourage academic, social & daily living skills. I absolutely LOVE working with children. With children I enjoy going for walks or to the park, playing with motor skill toys, simple crafts, watching them grow & learn, learning all the different personalities & reading.
