Hi! My name is Kate Busbee and I live in Indianapolis. I am one of four kids and have been surrounded by young cousins and a big family my whole life. In high school, I worked one-on-one with children with disabilities and helped integrate an inclusive classroom program that had high school aged kids with down syndrome attend classes with the rest of the high school. I am patient, kind, loving, and respectful and love to spend time with kids. I am looking for opportunities before or after work and on the weekends and have a reliable car. I have been babysitting pretty much all ages (from 8 months old to 13) since I was in 7th grade and have spent previous high school and college summers babysitting. I also have previously worked camps during the summer and throughout the year where I am supervising groups of 8-10 elementary ages kids and designing tasks for them. I am a super active person who loves to be outdoors and do activities that are engaging and love to get outside when I can! I also am handy around the house and want to help out in any way I can including cooking, cleaning, laundry, and everything in between. I am CPR certified and have a clean driving record (no tickets or wrecks). If you have any questions or would like any more information, please feel free to reach out. I am looking forward to hearing from you!

Kate has come to help us out a few times, and is great! My very shy 3yo opened up to her almost immediately, as did my 1.5yo. She shows up on time, is very responsive, and jumps right in without needing any guidance. We will be welcoming her back and would recommend!

Hi! My name is Ellie, and I have been nannying since 2022. I absolutely love working with kiddos and getting to be a part of watching them grow, learn, and develop their own little personalities! I’m currently completing my college degree online, which gives me flexibility with my schedule. As a nanny, I love keeping kids engaged and having fun—whether that means playing outside, doing crafts, going on little adventures, reading together, or finding creative activities to do at home. I also understand the importance of routines, safety, and creating an environment where kids feel comfortable, cared for, and encouraged. Nannying has been such a rewarding experience for me, and I love building genuine relationships with both the children I care for and their families. I’d love the opportunity to get to know your family and see if I could be a great fit!

I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and helping them learn, grow, and feel safe. I find it rewarding to build positive relationships with kids, support their development, and create a fun, caring environment where they can thrive. Every child has a unique personality, and I enjoy engaging with them through play, learning activities, and daily routines while providing families with peace of mind knowing their children are in good hands. I currently work in the Emergency Department as a Patient Care Assistant, where I provide care for patients of all ages, including infants, children, teenagers, adults, and older adults. This role has given me valuable experience communicating with children and families, remaining calm in stressful situations, and ensuring patient safety. In addition to my healthcare experience, I have extensive hands-on childcare experience through babysitting my younger cousins. I have cared for 6-month-old twin girls, Imani and Imori, a 3-month-old infant named Kashous, a 7-year-old named Kayden, and a 3-year-old named Kaice. Caring for children ranging from newborns and infants to school-aged kids has taught me how to adapt to different developmental stages, manage multiple children at once, assist with feeding, diaper changes, bedtime routines, playtime, and provide attentive supervision. I am currently a college student majoring in Nursing with a minor in Psychology. My education has provided me with knowledge of child development, health, safety, communication, and human behavior. Working in the Emergency Department has strengthened my skills in patient care, observation, critical thinking, multitasking, and responding appropriately in urgent situations. Some of my strongest skills include: Caring for children of all ages, from infants to school-aged children Maintaining a safe and nurturing environment Strong communication with both children and parents Patience, empathy, and reliability Problem-solving and remaining calm under pressure Assisting with feeding, diapering, hygiene, and daily routines Organization, time management, and attention to detail My combination of healthcare experience, nursing education, psychology background, and hands on childcare experience makes me a responsible, compassionate, and dependable caregiver who is dedicated to providing excellent care for every child.

I'm Mikeyla, a 19-year-old who’s brought a bit of Mississippi sunshine to Indianapolis, where I currently live. My family's strong military background has always inspired me, instilling a deep sense of dedication and community. I genuinely love connecting with people and find real joy in helping out, especially when it comes to kids and elders. I've gained some great experience supporting older adults, and I even volunteered my time at a senior citizen club, which was a truly rewarding experience. When I'm not busy assisting others, you can often find me curled up with a good book – it’s one of my favorite ways to relax and learn. Currently, I'm focused on my college studies, pursuing a dual path in nursing and hospitality. My aim is to blend my compassionate nature with practical skills, allowing me to care for and serve people in meaningful ways, whether it's in a healthcare setting or providing exceptional service. I absolutely love spending time with kids! I have a lot of experience caring for them, from playing games and helping with homework to just making sure they're safe, happy, and having a great time. I'm really patient, responsible, and I genuinely enjoy connecting with children and creating a fun, positive, and nurturing environment for them.

I would love to be a sitter because I love hanging out with kids, and I think this job will help me now and in the future. My goal after college is to become a psychologist in behavioral and social work, and I would love to work with younger children. Having this job will also help me with socializing, having patience, and bringing creativity. I have a little cousin and I love to watch them. I would watch them overnight and the whole day. I love hanging out with them and they will bring other friends, which means I would have more people to watch, take care of, and make sure they are safe. I have a few skills that I have. I would say that kids love me anytime I say hi or anything I believe that I am a positive person and outgoing, which attracts the kids and makes them want to hang out with me all the time. Another trait is that I am a very helpful and hard-working person and if stuff needs to get done, I will get it done.

Hi, my name is Kailyn! I’m a preschool teacher at White Oak Early Learning Center. I’ve worked with children from the ages infant to 12 years old. I started out by watching/babysitting children at the ages of 10-12 years old. I was babysitting my little cousins then eventually began babysitting for family friends and neighbors around the neighborhood. Throughout that time I decided professionally work in the child care field. I have been doing this for 7 going on 8 years now! I chose to work with children because they’re fun, curious and adventurous, they also are very loving, that’s another reason why I love watching them! A plus/ fun fact about me is that I actually teach and care for children! Another plus is that I can quickly get your child potty trained! I am CPR/ first aid certified. I have my CDA ( Child Development Associates) credential, in addition to that, I am currently in school working to receive my Early Childhood Education associates degree.
