My name is Kayla Payton I'm currently a Sophomore at the University of Louisville and am a communications major. I am also in the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority here at Louisville. I love to care for kids, it is in my genes with my grandmother and mother once being the owners and operators of a daycare in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. I had previously worked at a daycare called Kids Care Academy LLC. I worked with ages ranging from Infants to 4 y/o. I absolutely adored my job and was there for two years. Seeing them grow was very rewarding. There I followed a daily lesson plan with crafts and other activities for the day. With this being a state licensed daycare, I have CPR and child abuse training. I also was taught how to properly change a diaper during my time there. We kept daily charts of when the children Read more where fed, what they ate, and when they were changed. I also had a book that was specifically for accident reports that stated what happened and what was done to help the situation.
