I am a Human Service major with a concentration in children and healthcare. I will graduate with my Bachelors in December 2018. I have done an internship at the Fort Wayne Urban League in the after school program and am doing another internship now at Wellspring. I have babysat for children from newborn to 11 years of age, even twins, and up to four children at once. I am very focused on helping children develop and learn in fun ways to best benefit them and their families. I am willing to help cook meals, do school work, and do house work as well. I am looking for a part time position that will include all day Mondays, and evenings Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I worked as an activity leader with kindergarten through fifth grade students at the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis for a year. I assisted in homework help and Read more then designed games that would stimulate learning. I am a hard worker and very driven. My passion is to work at Riley Children's Hospital after graduation, so my school work and what I do outside of school is very focused around children and their well-being. I am great at following directions and also coming up with new opportunities to help the children learn and the families to grow closer together. I've always been drawn to helping children and I feel as if working with the youth is my true calling. I enjoy being able to help them learn and grow and their fun ways of handling situations. I enjoy their innocent minds and how I never know what is going to come out of their mouth next. I feel like working with children has been the one thing I know I am really great at doing and really enjoy it at the same time. I can't wait to help your child grow and learn.
