Hello! My name is Vanessa, I’m currently a pre-nursing student taking classes and working part-time. I take classes online and will be working at the hospital twice a week; my schedule may vary but for the most part is flexible and open. I’m pursuing nursing because I love taking care of others, specifically children and babies! I worked at an after school program for a while where I worked with kids age 5-11. I tutored kids and helped with homework, as well as dealing with behavioral issues where I would show compassion and do my best to set a good example for the children. Since the age of around 12 or 13 I have been the one family members came to for their small children, because they know how much I love them and how much attention and care I’ll provide. I am originally from California, but have been living in Fort Wayne for the past 6 months. It’s been an interesting transition, but I love it here and feel like it is definitely a better fit for me at the moment.
