I love kids and have a lot of experience working with all ages, as a babysitter back in high school and more recently as a camp counselor for three summers. My style is very relational, I find that when I show kids I care about them am interested in what they have to say, they are much more likely to listen and respect when I need to enforce a rule. I’m also a big believer in incorporating screen-free fun, and know lots of hands-on games and activities for this. As for other qualifications, I spent many years as a certified CPR/First Aid trained lifeguard and while my certification is not currently active I am comfortable with first aid and in emergency situations.
