Hello, I'm Liz! I am a senior at Saint Mary's College with a major in Sociology and a minor in psychology. My experience with child care started in high school where I would babysit my younger brother and other neighborhood kids. When I transitioned to college I then worked at the daycares facilitated by Notre Dame and Saint marys. For those positions, I completed the mandatory training for Indiana child care workers through Indiana learning paths. Since then I have been babysitting casually for people who reach out to me via email around the Saint Joseph area. As a babysitter, I value connections and I aim to leave the children that I care for with a positive experience. My caring methods mirror ECDC's approach to authority where I use a positive approach focusing on choices, encouragement, and natural and logical consequences, I also utilize conscious discipline.
