Meet Claire

Hello! Allow me to introduce myself; my name is Claire. I grew up as the oldest of four siblings, so to say I'm acclimated to spending time with children is a grievous understatement. I spent my summers as a high school underclassman volunteering as a STEM Leadership Intern for St. Michael School in Brookeville, Indiana, helping to engage elementary aged children in science and creative thinking. In my latter years of high school, I was the consistent go-to babysitter for many of my coworkers. During this time I worked with children ages two to seven. My youngest sister gave birth to her first baby this summer, and for a few months I had the joy of caring for the newborn and helping my sister around the house. The last three semesters I have been employed as a Resident Advisor at the University of New Mexico, where I gained care experience Read more for students ages sixteen and up. I am currently studying French with a minor in interdisciplinary liberal arts through UNM's Honors Department. However, I spent the first two years of my undergraduate experience studying math and environmental science. In addition to baby-sitting, I am also interested in tutoring, house-sitting, and pet-sitting. I look forward to meeting you ! Claire
