I have worked in the Early Childhood Education field for most of my adult life. I started as a substitute teacher where I fell in love with working with preschool/prek age children. I have worked as an in- home childcare provider while my oldest children were younger. Once they ventured off to school I ventured out into the corporate preschool/childcare world. I have worked in many settings and took on many roles from teacher, cook, to administrator including center director. I find myself back at home with my youngest child, an inquisitive, energetic three year old while my oldest are in college. I would love to care for a few children in my home on a regular basis to bring in a little extra income while giving my three year old some interaction with other children near her age. I have experience with all ages as my oldest 4 are Read more college students, I have 5 school age children (5th-9th grade), and of course my preschooler. I have worked with infants as well in both in-home and center based settings. I hold a bachelor's of social sciences degree with a concentration in education. I have some post graduate work completed in education admistration. I will provide meals, educational activities, and a safe environment for children to learn and grow.
