I worked for a local daycare and before and after school program for school aged kids for 5 years. When I would work at the daycare I was an assistant teacher. When I worked for latchkey, which is a before and after school program I was lead teacher and on site coordinator. My everyday consisted of caring, playing, educating, and feeding the kids. At the daycare I would care for as many as 10 kids a day and at latchkey I would care for as many as 30 kids a day. I loved every bit of my day whether it was working with the infants to working with 5th graders.
