I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old. I recently was a nanny for two boys ages 3 and 6. My main responsibilities were cooking, cleaning, and playing with the youngsters. I would make breakfast in the morning and get them dressed. After lunch I would pickup the oldest from school and put them both down for a nap. During play time, I would put together a simple science project for all of us to do. I think I enjoyed it more then they did. After watching them for a time, I started taking an interest in teaching junior church. I currently teach a class of girls between the ages of 6 and 8. I prepare a lesson and activities every Sunday. I enjoy teaching so much that I decided to go back to school to become a teacher. In the fall of 2013, I will be taking Read more classes for elementary education. I believe this profession will expand my care-giving skills.
