Hi! My name is Lydia, and I’m a college junior studying Elementary Education. I love working with kids, especially ages 5–9, and I’m excited to bring my patience, creativity, and enthusiasm into a babysitting role. While I’m new to formal babysitting, my coursework and hands-on experiences in education have given me a lot of practice interacting with children, understanding their needs, and helping them learn and grow. I’m naturally calm and observant, and I tend to be quiet at first, but once I’m comfortable, I’m very warm, friendly, and easy for kids to connect with. I enjoy creating a positive, safe, and fun environment where children feel happy and confident. I also love coming up with activities that are both educational and entertaining — from crafts and games to reading and imaginative play. I’ll be CPR certified by the time I start babysitting, and I take safety very seriously. I understand how important it is for families to trust their babysitter, and I work hard to build that trust through clear communication, attentiveness, and genuine care. Outside of school and babysitting, some of my favorite hobbies are working out, going on walks, and reading. I find that staying active and enjoying quiet moments with a good book helps me stay balanced and energized — which I bring with me when caring for kids. I’m excited to meet new families, create meaningful connections, and provide a calm, supportive, and enjoyable experience for children.
