Hi, my name is Caitlin and I am a 34 year old teaching assistant at a local school with kids from Pre-K to eighth grade. I primarily work in the Kindergarten, first, and second grade classrooms assisting with academic, behavioral, and emotional support for the students, but have experience with all the grade levels listed. I also work as one of the Aftercare teachers at my school during the year, and regularly watch up to 25 kids, so I am comfortable with multitasking and setting rules that keep everyone safe. Before I worked at the school I was a RBT at an autism center, and worked one on one with children with autism from the ages of 2 to 19 on various skills including social, behavioral, and emotional support for five years. I am exceedingly comfortable with special needs children, specifically with autism, and am willing to deal with kids Read more who need more emotional support than average. I adore children, I genuinely find them to be interesting and funny and am good at forming relationships with them in which they have fun and feel safe, but know that there are rules to follow.
