Hi! My name is Alissa and I am a student at Ball State University. I enjoy reading, crafts, music, and animals. I have experience with a variety of children ranging from 8 months to 12 years of age. One of which being my now 2-year-old cousin that has been living with my parents the past 8 months. I have worked with children who have down syndrome and cerebral palsy and have spent a lot of time going to work with my mother who is a caretaker for people with all sorts of needs. My most recent experience comes from being a teachers assistant at an educational STEM camp called Great Spirits Camp. I helped teach a classroom of 9-year-olds by creating games, going through experiments and assisting with lesson plans. While I don't have any plans to go into childcare as a career ( I actually hope to work closely Read more with non-profit organizations to promote them) , I do really enjoy kids and hope to have many of my own one day. :)
