I would like to be a sitter because I have really been enjoying the downtime we have during class to play games and to just hang out with the kids. I am a certified teacher and taught a second/third grade classroom for six years. I taught 4th grade for one year and I currently teach computer coding classes in Santa Maria part-time in the afternoons four days a week. I have a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education with a minor in English and I graduated with honors.

I’ve always had a natural love for working with children because every day with them is full of energy, curiosity, and creativity. Babysitting gives me the chance to be a positive role model while also joining in on their fun—whether that’s playing games, helping with homework, or simply listening to their stories. Hello there! My name is Becca, and I am a junior at Purdue studying Elementary and Special Education. Working with kids has always been one of the biggest joys in my life. I’ve been babysitting, nannying, a camp counselor, and tutoring upper elementary students for years, and families I work with often tell me how much they appreciate my sweet, positive energy and how naturally I connect with their kids. I’m here not just to watch your kids, but to engage with them, whether that’s helping with summer homework, playing games, doing crafts, or just making sure they’re safe, happy, and having a great time. Hello! My name is Mallory Moore. Some things to know about me is that I grew up the middle child in a huge family full of little ones. So by nature, I turned into the trusty baby sitter! Growing up I've always wanted more then anything to be in child care, whatever that tittle may be. During Covid while I was in school, I also had to home school my two elementary school aged cousins, prepare meals and make sure they were taken care of and comfortable. All while staying onto of my duties and school work. That was just the start for me and I have taken care of several children from the ages newborn to middle school since. In high school I took all the classes I could on child development so that I could have another foot in the door for gaining more knowledge in this field. So for me it would not just be "another job". I love what I do and making positive impacts on children lives is what drives me to this day!

My name is Marcaja Todd. I am 24 years old. I attend Purdue University majoring in Computer Engineering with a minor in ASL. I do not have any babysitting certificates but have worked in numerous of daycares. I am originally from Chicago, I’ve worked for an organization in Chicago called the Better Boys Foundation. I watched kids 5-12 years old until their parents came to pick them up. I helped them with homework, serving them food, and help them get themselves organized for the next school day. I also volunteered at the Big Brother Big Sister organization. I helped my little with her homework and getting organized for school also. We also spent time talking about our day getting to know each other, and we also played games. My family also own a daycare. We accept kids 3 & up.
