Over the past 14 years I have spent most of my time dedicated to looking after children. I started off as a teenager taking care of my nieces on a daily basis along with babysitting for friends and neighbors. When my nieces started school I decided to look into childcare professionally. I was hired at not one but two churches. Although one was only temporary, I worked at the other from 2008-2014. I spent many of those years being the leader in the nursery and the toddlers rooms. The last year I also lead the toddlers Sunday school class. Even though I have spent much of my time around little ones, I do have experience with children of up to13 years of age. I have never stopped doing babysitting jobs on the side either. At 28 years old with my own 2 year old daughter and a 5 year old Read more step daughter, I still enjoy babysitting on the side. Although I have had a few other jobs in the mix, my heart has always lead me to childcare. I am fun and loving but also firm. I am interactive and playful with the children but I also work very hard to teach manors and the importance of following directions. I have not renewed my CPR license yet but I have had training three times in the past 8 years.
