My name is Nahja King. I'm 24 years old but have a lot of experience for my age working with kids of all ages. In high school I was a 3 sport athlete that helped out with many camps with younger children. I began babysitting a lot more as a way to earn money while in school. I watched all of my younger cousins from infant to 11 years of age and also the neighborhood sitter. After graduating high school and heading off to college, I decided I wanted to be a volunteer with the cadet children at the local boys and girls club. During my second year of school I was hired into a position at the Kroc center working in kids watch. There, we watched children from 6months old to 10. I worked there for 2 years and that has been one of my most favorite jobs. I Read more stopped working there because I was desperate for a full time job in the adult world. I would really love to get back with working with children, and being another positive influence in their life.
