I started working with kids when I was still a kid. At 13 I started babysitting my neighbors 8 month old twins. And absolutely loved it! From there I went on to get a degree in Early Childhood Ed. Got hired at a children’s shelter where I did my first internship. After working for several years at the shelters, I spent a few years being a nanny. Until I had my own children. At that point I started my own home daycare, so I could be home with my kids and continue to take care of others. When my youngest of 3 girls was 2, I also started doing foster care for the state of Rhode Island. Which I did for 7 years. Adopting my awesome son from there. I moved to Indiana 4 years ago... and I miss working with kids, so I’m ready to get back to it!
