I have never been an official babysitter before, but have been asked to watch friends' children in the past. I am a certified teacher and have been a public school teacher for the past three years. I am looking for a summer job to support my annual income. During my time teaching at school, I have had to manage and discipline a classroom full of children, ensure their general safety (especially in the art classroom), and create engaging lessons. I also have experience teaching Sunday school and helping with newborn-crawlers, 2-3 year olds, and a kindergarten classroom. These experiences included creating crafts for the children to do, singing songs and playing games together, taking children to the bathroom, providing snacks and feeding the babies (according to parents' instructions), and creating interactive lessons. I range more on the cautious side but know how to make fun experiences for children as well.
