Hi, I'm Karlie! My childcare experience dates back pretty far, but I will start with after highschool. I worked in a daycare setting for just under a year, before moving on to working with special needs adults and children. I did that for 3 years before deciding to go back to school. While being enrolled in a medical imaging program I became a nanny. I have been with my first family for 5 years now, and that situation has turned into mostly just date nights now. I have worked with a few other families off and on during that time, including caring for newborn twins. I ended up putting a pin in school, and had a baby of my own, who is now 2 years old. She does come with me on some jobs, but it is not a deal breaker to have her stay home with dad or a Read more grandma if necessary.
