Hello, moms, dads, and all care givers! My name is Taylor Matney and I’m new to Sittercity. However, I am not new to caring for and nurturing children. I have a truly happy 7, almost 8 years of experience as a nanny and or occasional sitter. My first nanny job was a summer job that consisted of educational, social, and many other various activities. I nannied two children, ages six and eight. I nannied these two children every summer of my high school years. Once I graduated, I set off for Ball State University in hopes of being a school teacher. After a year at BSU, I decided to move back home to attend Aveda Fredric’s Institute. I am sad to see her go but I am excited for my next opportunity to work with kids! I have several years of experience. I have an honest compassion for kids, for kids to be the best they can be. I without a doubt enjoy going the extra mile. Car pools, homework help, light housework, meal prep, trouble shooting problems, and as always— encouraging each and every child to reach their full potential! I was an honors student in high school, joined the Dean’s list in college, and graduated top of my class at Aveda Fredric’s Institute.
