Hello, my name is Bridget VanHoutan! I currently attend Emporia State and will be living here throughout the summers as well. I was a cheerleader las year, but I stepped down to focus on school and work. I have been working with kids since I was 14. From the ages 14-17 every summer I nannied for a family of four kids. The kids’ ages ranged from 6 months-7 years old when I first started. They truly became my family, the parents included! I loved working with kids so much that I started another job at an integrated behavior early learning center for kids with learning and social barriers. At this place I worked in every age room from infants to school age. I earned my CNA (certified nurse aide) when I was a senior in high school and have worked as one since then.
