I’m comfortable with making bottles (breast milk, formula, or whole milk) and with changing diapers and dealing with blowouts/changing clothes. - I worked at a daycare in Lenexa for almost a year, primarily in the Infant room (ages 4 months to a year) but also helped out in the Toddler rooms (1 year- 2 1/2 years) as well as with ages 3 years and up. - I’m currently a nanny to a 15 month old and have been watching her since she was 6 months old. - I am CPR and First Aid certified. - I am currently studying Psychology at the University of Kansas and am primarily located in Lawrence. I have always loved working with kids, I have many young cousins, so there have been many children around for as long as I can remember! I have my own car, and recently graduated high school as a valedictorian. During high school I was given an opportunity to be in a kindergarten classroom, where I learned just how much I love working with young children. Hello! I am a third year physical therapy student at KUMC. I’m on my full time unpaid clinical rotations and am in need of some extra cash. I worked at a Bright Horizons in Iowa for 2.5 years as a toddler teacher. I typically floated between the infant, preschool, and kindergarten prep rooms as well. I also have experience as a summer camp counselor and fitness center childcare provider that helped me connect with older children. I currently nanny a family of four, ages 2.5, 9, 12, and 13 years, and have been doing so for two years.
