My name is Jacqueline. To start off with a little bit about my experience, I am currently a Postpartum Doula for a set of preemie triplets, totaling over 10 years of Doula experience with multiple births. I have worked in home day cares and childcare centers, as well as babysitting and nannying for ages newborn to 12 years old. I have raised 4 children and will be a new grandma in December! I absolutely adore kids and always make it a point to treat them how I want my children & grandchildren to be treated! I truly believe that my passion is working with children and think it's important to not only care for them, but to teach them through creative activities as well. I’m comfortable with making bottles (breast milk, formula, or whole milk) and with changing diapers and dealing witj blowouts/changing clothes. - I worked at a daycare in Lenexa for almost a year, primarily in the Infant room (ages 4 months to a year) but also helped out in the Toddler rooms (1 year- 2 1/2 years) as well as with ages 3 years and up. - I’m currently a nanny to a 15 month old and have been watching her since she was 6 months old. - I am CPR and First Aid certified. - I am currently studying Psychology at the University of Kansas and am primarily located in Lawrence. My schedule and availability changes each semester.

I have always loved working with kids, I have many young cousins, so there have been many children around for as long as I can remember! I have my own car, and recently graduated high school as a valedictorian. Hello! My name is Ashura (“ash-rah”). I graduated from John Carroll University with a degree in Exercise Science in May of 2019. During my time at John Carroll, I was a member of the track and field team, a mentor, and a part of the Scholars service program as well. After graduating from college, I moved to California to pursue my doctorate in physical therapy at the University of Southern California. Life, however, had other plans and I now live in Kansas as I work towards my masters in Health, Sport Management and Exercise Science at KU. When it comes to my childcare experience, I have been caring for children for what seems like an eternity. I am the oldest of 3 girls, so I have helped care for my sisters since birth.
