I am able to provide care in your home. As a disabled veteran, I have access to Fort Riley. I am a retired federal employee wanting to care for children. I love interacting with children; playing, singing, teaching, and doing arts and crafts. I have worked with children at schools, daycares, Girl scouts and churches. I have been a nanny for multiple families over the past 10 years working full-time for several months at a time. I mostly do occasional care and have been a care provider for several families in the Junction City, Ft Riley, Manhattan and Ogden area for over 10 years.

I love working with kids because it reminds me of how amazing and exciting the world can be. I started working with kids when I was about 13 years old. I started working with kids of special needs about 4 years ago. I have been working with infants for about 4 years as well and since then I have been working with children of all ages. In my spare time, I like to volunteer with the special needs community along with local events. When I'm not volunteering I enjoy reading and studying. One thing you should know about me is I work well with children that have special needs, and work well with larger groups of children. My skills include patience, enthusiasm, compassion and empathy.

I have had experience with many different customer service jobs, but something always brings me back to working with kids. I spend many hours a week volunteering at a local third-grade classroom, and every summer since I was fourteen I have worked hands-on with kids. I love being able to talk and have fun with kids while also being an important role model for them. I am very kind yet very driven, which makes me a great person in charge.

Hello! I am currently a freshman at Kansas State University studying nutritional science with a minor in business and then hopefully going to dental school one day! I have been a babysitter/nanny for the past 7 years in my hometown and it is one of my favorite things! I love spending time with kids and getting to know them. Hi! Being the oldest of 3 kids, I've helped my busy mom with my 2 younger sisters from each of their births since I was 11. I'm also the oldest of first cousins and helped my aunties (mom's sister and dad's sister) with their children on separate occasions. One has 4 kids, the other has 2. With all this experience, one key skill I've acquired is patience. Knowing that every baby and every child's needs are different, I'm willing to learn and adapt to what helps them feel comfortable and safe. I'm willing to do light housekeeping and also enjoy doing crafts. I'm a lover of animals and do well with pets, personally growing up with big dogs, as long as they're friendly. Paid experience with families other than my own since September 2022 with ages 3 and up. I’ve done wake up, bedtime, and everything in between. Including school drop offs and pickups. I became a caregiver because I’ve always had a passion with helping children. I used to be a teacher at KinderCare before I was pushed out. Due to over staffing, so I decided to go back to offering childcare. I’ve helped multiple parents with potty training.
